Miody od wielu lat są chętnie kupowanymi produktami przez Polaków. Posiadają one nie tylko walory smakowe, lecz także właściwości lecznicze. Wśród wielu rodzajów miodów coraz częściej kupowane są miody drahimskie, które są regionalnym produktem województwa zachodniopomorskiego. Czym charakteryzuje się miód drahimski i jakie ma właściwości zdrowotne?

Miód drahimski – czym jest?

Miód drahimski jest znanym regionalnym produktem dwóch powiatów: szczecineckiego i drawskiego położonych w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Skąd taka nazwa miodu? Ponieważ Drahim to początkowa nazwa miejscowości Stare Drawsko. Od 2006 roku miody drahimskie (wszystkie 5 rodzajów) znajdują się na liście produktów tradycyjnych. 

Tak naprawdę miód drahimski możemy spotkać w pięciu wersjach. Wszystkie miody drahimskie są produkowane według tradycyjnych receptur, które sięgają XVI wieku. Obecnie miody drahimskie są wyrabiane w wielu wariantach jako: gryczane, rzepakowe, lipowe, wielokwiatowe oraz wrzosowe. To, co zachęca do kupowania tego typu miodu to unikalne podejście, które nakazuje zbieranie nektaru i pyłu wyłącznie z obszarów ekologicznych Pojezierza Drawskiego.

Miód drahimski – właściwości

To, co wyróżnia miód drahimski to wysoka zawartość pyłków, w stosunku do innych miodów. Stężenie pyłków wynosi 3%, co wpływa na jego ciekawy smak. Wśród pyłków znajdziemy również ślady unikatowych roślin występujących na Pojezierzu Drawskim. Ponadto miody drahimskie cechują się niskim poziomem HMF, czyli substancji zapachowej nieciekawej dla ludzi.
